Coating Process

“The process/time of the coating always differs based on the condition of the paint”

Wash Down

Before applying the coating, we start by washing your car so that the material has a clean surface to bond to. We start with a special Japanese soap called “Bakuhaku“ to take off any dirt and contamination from the vehicles surface . If Bakuhaku is not enough for this, we proceed to clay bar the surface to ensure the vehicle is thoroughly prepped for the paint correction stage. The current condition of the vehicle will decide the steps that we take such as hand polish, buffer polish, acid wash etc… The better the paint’s initial condition, the better the outcome will be!

Paint Correction

Paint correction is the most time consuming and important process that we do to prep the vehicle. This process is the main deciding factor in the outcome of the the final product. The purpose of paint correction is to make the surface of the paint is as smooth as possible by buffing out hard water spots, minor scratches, paint transfer, and any inconsistencies in the vehicles paint.

Application

Once we ensure that there is no residue or streaks on the paint, we start applying the liquid glass coating one panel at a time. After each individual panel, we wipe it down with 3 microfiber cloths to make sure the coating is applied evenly throughout the surface. After a strict inspection under the lights and sun, this process will be complete.

Over Night Bonding Process

Once the coating is applied to the entire vehicle, it will be kept in our shop to cure for 24 hours. This step allows the coating and paint to bond to insure that you get all the benefits of the coating the moment you take the vehicle home.

After Care

We want to make sure that you are satisfied with the outcome of the coating. So 6 months after completion, we invite you to stop by the shop where we will demonstrate how to properly maintain and wash your vehicle to prevent premature wear and tear to both the coating and your paint.
